United Nations - Daash and the Maliki government were committed war crimesThe United Nations said today (Monday, 1 September / September 2014) that the fighters of the so-called Islamic State (Daash) commit atrocities against minorities amount to crimes against humanity and executed by forces of the current Iraqi government led by Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki detainees and bombed civilian areas in acts that may amount to war crimes.
Said Flavia Pansieri Deputy High Commissioner to the United Nations for Human Rights at the opening of an emergency session of the Human Rights Council of the International Organization of the conflict that has a serious impact on Iraqi civilians, especially women and children.
