UNDP Administrator: security and political instability behind disruption of development in Iraq

Baghdad (newsletter).The Director of the Office of the United Nations Development Programme Iraq Peter Batchelor, the lack of security and political stability behind the country’s development stalled.

Batchelor said in an interview with (News Agency): that the United Nations had made progress during the past 10 years in achieving development goals especially in Iraq, he said: we believe that without the stability of the political and security situation development evolution can never get in Iraq.

And Batchelor: the planning Ministry on Sunday presented its report explaining the levels of Iraqi provinces which ndamth Ministry in cooperation with the United Nations and civil society organizations and international organizations supported the report, indicating that the interface and can be a starting point for the Government of Iraq on how to hire staff to develop the programme of development in Iraq.
