wisely and confidently, said Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi reiterated that the referendum in the Kurdistan region is not in the interest of the Kurdish citizens, and here is the highest international organization to confirm its rejection of this step, which met local, regional and global opposition.
Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, head of the UN mission in Iraq, received Jan Kubic.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in security, political and economic developments in Iraq, regional situations and the war on terrorism.
In a statement received by al-Sabah, a copy of which was prepared to discuss the preparations and coordination to support Iraq’s efforts during the annual meetings of the UN General Assembly and progress in the file of community reconciliation.
“The position of the United Nations supporting the unity of Iraq and its federal democratic system and its opposition to weaken this unity and the division of Iraq.”
Dr. Al-Abbadi also met with the UAE Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Ahmed Al-Shehhi.
The UAE ambassador congratulated the UAE leadership on the victories achieved on the “support” and his country’s support for Iraq in combating terrorism and its desire to develop economic, trade and investment relations. Al-Shehhi also conveyed a written message from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, praising the sacrifices made by the Iraqi people and armed forces and the desire of the UAE to enhance bilateral cooperation and continue efforts to coordinate and cooperate regionally and internationally.
