Shafaq News/ The Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world announced on Saturday that the church leader received a phone call from the lawyer of former US President Donald Trump and his campaign advisor, indicating that this woman may have a positive role in stabilizing Iraq.
The church said in a statement to Shafaq News Agency that Patriarch Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako received a phone call on Friday evening from Mrs. Elena Habba, Trump’s lawyer and campaign advisor, who is Chaldean of Iraqi origin.
The statement added that His Beatitude Patriarch Sako expressed his pride in the Chaldean identity of Haba and her Iraqi roots, expressing his hope that she would play a positive role in the stability of Iraq.
He also expressed his pride in the Chaldean community in the United States of America, which has always supported the Church in its endeavors.
