US President Donald Trump asserted on Sunday that the war with Iran would end soon, while indicating that Tehran would hand over its uranium.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump said that Iran cannot be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon, and what we have done should have been done over the past 47 years.
He added: We have all the cards and Iran has none, and if they want to negotiate they can contact us.
Trump explained that some of the people we are dealing with now regarding Iran are very rational and others are not, stressing that Washington’s goal is to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and if that is not achieved, there is no reason to negotiate.
The US president added that the United States would take Iranian nuclear dust as part of the negotiations.
He expressed hope that it would not be necessary to deal militarily with what remains of the Iranian regime.
Regarding NATO, Trump concluded by saying, “I am very disappointed in them because they have not helped us with Iran.”
