US President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that he ruled out renewing the truce with Iran.
Trump told Bloomberg: Vance will leave later today to resume negotiations in Pakistan tomorrow, Tuesday, with Iran.
He added: The meeting with Iran to discuss the terms of peace may be beneficial to everyone and I would like to attend, but I do not see it as necessary.
He added: I expect fighting to resume if no agreement is reached, and the Iranians want me to open the strait, but I will not open it until an agreement is signed.
He explained: The Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until a final agreement is reached, and I will not rush into a bad agreement. We have plenty of time. He confirmed: The ceasefire ends Wednesday evening, Washington time.
