On Saturday morning, US President Donald Trump threatened Iran with total destruction if it carried out a plot to assassinate him, confirming that he had issued open orders to the military in this regard.
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: “There are 1,000 missiles loaded and aimed at Iran, and thousands more will follow immediately, if the Iranian government carries out its threat—which it has broadcast around the world—to assassinate or attempt to assassinate the current US President, i.e., me!”
He added: “The orders have already been issued, and the army is fully prepared and capable – for one year, which is extendable – to eliminate and completely destroy all areas of Iran.”
