Shafaq News/ US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Iran has a “second chance” to reach understandings on the nuclear issue, threatening Tehran with “more brutal” attacks and the “most lethal” weapons in the world. This coincided with missile attacks carried out by Israel targeting military sites and high-level Iranian leaders.
Trump said he gave Iran a 60-day ultimatum, and today is the 61st, and that Tehran has a second chance to reach an agreement on its nuclear program, according to the Russian website RT Arabic.
He warned that “the next planned attacks will be even more brutal,” announcing that large quantities of the world’s most lethal American weapons were on their way to Israel.
Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, “I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal, and I told them in the strongest terms, just do it.” He added, “Despite all their attempts and close calls, they were unable to make a deal.”
Trump explained that he had warned Iran that what awaited it would be far worse than it knew, anticipated, or was allowed to know, stressing that “the United States manufactures the best and most lethal weapons in the world, by far, and that Israel has large quantities of them, with more on the way, and the Israelis know very well how to use those weapons.”
He noted that some Iranian hardliners spoke out bravely, but they did not realize what was about to happen, asserting that “they are all dead now, and the situation will only get worse.”
He noted that there had already been a great deal of death and destruction, but indicated that there was still a chance to stop this “slaughter,” warning that future planned attacks would be even more brutal.
Trump called on Iran to quickly conclude an agreement “before there is nothing left,” and to save what remains of what was once known as the “Persian Empire.”
He concluded by saying: “No more death, no more destruction, just do it, before it’s too late. God bless you all.”
