Trump finds a loophole and revokes Biden’s pardon

US President Donald Trump declared that the pardon granted by his predecessor, Joe Biden, was invalid because he did not sign it personally, but rather through a machine that signed documents.
Trump wrote on Truth Social: “Sleepy Joe’s pardon… is now null and void and of no effect because it was signed by an automated signature machine.”
According to the US President, Biden was unaware of these lapses, and anyone who was aware of them may have committed a crime.
Trump had previously posted a meme on social media about a Biden presidency. The image depicted a sequence of US presidents: Trump from 2017-2021, Biden’s signature machines from 2021-2025, and then Trump again.
In January, shortly before the inauguration of President Trump, the White House announced that Biden had commuted the sentences of nearly 2,500 nonviolent offenders. Biden also pardoned his son, Hunter, and granted preemptive pardons to several members of his family, as well as former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley and former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci.
