{International: Ayna News} White House spokeswoman Kylie McCannani announced that US President Donald Trump will hold a press conference at 6:00 pm Washington time today on “an important breakthrough in treating the Corona virus.”
McNani said Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar and US Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephan Hahn will be among the attendees.
The US President tweeted yesterday, Saturday, on his Twitter account, saying that “the deep state, or anyone else, in the US Food and Drug Administration makes it very difficult for pharmaceutical companies to find people to test vaccines and treatments on them. It is clear that they hope to delay treatment. Beyond November 3 (the date of the presidential elections) we must focus on speed and saving lives. ”
The tweet was directed to Stephen Hahn, Commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration.
Han had assured the Americans earlier this month that the agency “will not block the path to approve a vaccine.”
