The Ministry of Transport announced today, Saturday, that the completion rate of Mosul Airport has reached 86%, while indicating that it is expected to open in 2025.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Transport, Maitham Al-Safi, said in a statement followed by Al-Maalouma Agency, “The completion rate at Mosul Airport has reached 86%, and it is expected to open in 2025.”
He added, “The airport’s tasks are limited to receiving and transporting aircraft and providing them with the necessary services, while the companies specialized in aviation and air transport are responsible for receiving and adding aircraft.”
Earlier, during his visit to Al Wasl Airport, the Prime Minister stressed the need for the concerned authorities to make every effort to facilitate the completion of the rehabilitation stages and adhere to the set timetables.
