On Saturday, the shipping data service TankerTrackers reported that oil and gas tankers carrying 7 million barrels of oil were preparing to cross the Strait of Hormuz, under the protection of US forces.
The service, which specializes in tracking and monitoring the movement of oil shipments and maritime tankers globally, stated via the X platform that it monitored 17 oil and gas transfer operations between ships in the Gulf of Oman on Friday, involving approximately 24 million barrels.
She confirmed that the area is experiencing significant congestion, while port services are operating around the clock to ensure safe and smooth transport operations.
