The Washington Times accuses the Iraqi government of violating the constitution

The US newspaper The Washington Times accused the Iraqi government of violating the Iraqi constitution and mistreatment of Kurds, stressing that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson recently announced that his country will stand with the Kurds in their efforts to implement the Iraqi constitution fully.
The newspaper said in a report that the recent years have witnessed repeated violation of the Iraqi constitution, which encouraged the Kurds to demand separation, indicating that the countries that stood in the face of the referendum and rejected the independence of Kurdistan, demanded today the Iraqi government to respect the Iraqi constitution.
The newspaper called for the need to review the Iraqi government’s policies towards its Kurdish citizens and start a meaningful dialogue with the government of the region because the continuing Baghdad government to reject dialogue and intransigence, any future demands of the Kurds to separate from Iraq will be justified.
