The text of Al-Kazemis statement regarding the directives of Imam Sistani(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, issued a statement on Sunday regarding the directives of the supreme religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani (may his shadow) regarding early elections and restricting weapons.
In a statement, Al-Furat News received a copy of it, Al-Kazemi said, “With an abundance of appreciation, respect and gratitude, we received the directives of His Eminence, Ali Al-Sistani (may God bless him), while he received Jenin Blashart, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Iraq.”
He stressed, “The rational reference path and its guidelines that represent the starting points and priorities of the honorable Iraqi people are our permanent guide towards achieving the aspirations of our people in early free, fair and fair elections, and for the government to continue the steps it has started on the path of preserving sovereignty, imposing state prestige and fighting corruption despite I faced no challenges and obstacles. ”
Al-Kazemi added, “The government is determined to hold accountable those involved in Iraqi blood, and the first stage of verification and investigation procedures has ended by counting the victims of the martyrs and wounded of the events of October 2019 and its aftermath, and the second stage of judicial investigation and identification of those involved in Iraqi blood will soon begin and hand them over to justice.”
Between “the reference was and still is indicating defects and weaknesses for the sake of the common good, and it warns of the dangerous consequences, God forbid, that wrong policies have created on the future of our dear homeland, its unity, territorial integrity and the dignity of its people.”
Al-Kazemi concluded his statement by saying, “We pledge to our people, and we pledge to our rational authority, to be faithful to the covenant and steadfast on the path of reform. We advance the interests of the nation and care for the rights of people with justice, and we do not fear the right to blame.”
