On Saturday, Representative Baqir Al-Saadi set 3 goals that Iraq achieved at the Munich Security Conference.
Al-Saadi told Al-Maalouma, “The participation of Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani in the 2024 Munich Security Conference made Iraq achieve three main goals: informing international opinion of the security situation and its ability to confront terrorism, explaining the importance of economic integration, attracting capital, and creating the atmosphere.” Towards building partnerships with countries and international organizations in several fields.
He added, “Iraq’s openness to external conferences gives more space to create narratives that contribute to supporting the government’s goals, especially in the economic dimension, by attracting companies to invest in light of the presence of pioneering opportunities in energy files and other wealth.”
He pointed out that “the arrival of international companies to work in Iraq is an important message regarding the stability of the security situation and gives flexibility to partnerships with the private sector to gain experience and build towards enhancing the capabilities of providing basic services.”
Iraq is participating with an official delegation headed by Sudanese in the Munich Security Conference 2024.
