The head of the State of Law coalition, Atwan Al-Atwani, confirmed, on Sunday, the imminence of enacting important laws related to slums, mineral investment, retirement and social security.
Al-Atwani said in an interview with the “Information” agency, “The House of Representatives is keen to legislate important laws during the next stage of the current legislative term, especially those that have a direct connection to the lives of citizens.”
He added, “The House of Representatives is proceeding to legislate the Mineral Investment Law, as it is one of the important laws, which contributes to the development of minerals found underground and supplement the Iraqi state budget with huge funds.”
