On Sunday, the Ministerial Council for the Economy approved the draft federal budget law for 2027.
A document published by the Ministry of Finance stated that the council decided to refer the draft bill to the Cabinet.
Today, the Iraqi Ministry of Finance announced that it had referred the draft federal budget for 2027 to the Ministerial Council for the Economy, after completing the stages of its preparation.
Last Sunday, Iraqi Finance Minister Faleh Sari announced that a provision to permanently employ contract workers would be included in the draft federal budget for 2027.
