The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar fell on Tuesday morning in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
A correspondent for Shafaq News Agency said that the dollar prices have decreased in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad to record 153,850 dinars for every 100 dollars, while yesterday, Monday, it recorded 154,100 dinars for every 100 dollars.
The agency’s correspondent noted that selling prices at currency exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad have decreased, with the selling price reaching 154,250 dinars for 100 dollars, while the buying price recorded 153,250 dinars for 100 dollars.
In Erbil, the dollar prices also decreased, with the selling price reaching 153,650 dinars per 100 dollars, and the buying price reaching 153,500 dinars per 100.
