Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq announced today, Sunday, that the cash reserve has risen to more than (85) billion US dollars.
The bank said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, that its foreign reserves amounted to more than 85 billion US dollars, stressing that it is “the highest level achieved by the Central Bank since 2003.”
He added that “the gold reserves of the Central Bank also exceeded 130.4 tons, with a value of 7 billion dollars,” explaining that “Iraq thus reached the thirtieth place globally and fourth in the Arab world.”
