Shafaq News/ The candidate of the coordination framework for the presidency of the Iraqi government, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, presented, on Tuesday, a solution to the energy crisis between the central and regional governments, pledging at the same time to hold early elections.
Al-Sudani said in an interview with UTV channel, which was followed by Shafak News Agency, that “the solution to the energy crisis between Baghdad and Erbil is to legislate the oil and gas law, and we set it with a ceiling of 6 months, and the government and parliament will abide by it.”
He added, “I will hold early elections 18 months after the formation of the government, and I will bear the responsibility of the ministerial cabinet in the Council of Ministers.”
And Al-Sudani continued, “We did not offer the Sovereignty Alliance anything, but rather agreed to solve the files of the liberated governorates.”
