Shafaq News/ The representative of Al-Fateh Alliance, Zahra Al-Bajari, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Presidency has not set a date for the Parliament sessions until now.
Al-Bajari told Shafaq News agency, “The Iraqi Parliament ended its legislative recess two days ago, and the deputies started their work in the parliamentary committees, and there is work to activate hosting officials and discussing laws, which must be enacted during the new legislative term.”
She added, “Despite the end of the legislative recess, the Presidency of the House of Representatives has not set any date for the resumption of the sessions, and we believe that the resumption of the sessions will be the beginning of next week, according to the latest information that we received from the Presidency, but until now there is no official determination of the resumption of the sessions.” And direct the new legislative term.
