On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers directed government institutions to sell goods and services in the local currency.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by Al-Maalouma Agency that “the council decided to oblige all government agencies to sell goods and services in Iraqi dinars according to the official exchange rate of (1470) dinars to one dollar.”
Earlier today, the council approved the winter agricultural plan for the current season, with an area of two and a half million dunums, as well as implementing a strategic plan to address traffic jams in Baghdad and the provinces.
