The Coordination Framework announced today, Tuesday, that it held its meeting No. (270) on Monday evening, April 6, 2026, at Haider al-Abadi’s office, to discuss developments in the security situation in the country.
The Coordination Framework, according to a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, condemned the “attacks on the Islamic Republic,” considering them a “dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.”
He also condemned “the targeting of security forces and Popular Mobilization Forces headquarters in Iraq,” stressing the need to protect and support security institutions to carry out their duties in maintaining security and stability.
While the Coordination Framework reiterated its condemnation of the targeting of diplomatic missions, it affirmed its support for the government in enforcing the law and taking the necessary measures to protect them and to prosecute the individuals and groups that carry out these attacks that undermine security and stability and threaten the higher interests of the state and the people.
