The Coordination Framework called on Monday (November 4, 2024) for the House of Representatives to extend its current legislative term and shorten its recess.
The framework said in a brief statement, “The political forces within it held a meeting at the home of the head of the Victory Alliance, Haider al-Abadi.”
He added that “the meeting discussed the political situation, the situation in the region, and the controversial laws in the House of Representatives.”
According to the statement, the framework called on the House of Representatives to “extend its legislative term and shorten its recess in line with developments in the region and important entitlements.”
