The coordinating framework reveals to Shafak News the details of its largest bloc and objects to Al-Darrajis presidencyShafaq News/ The deputy of the coordination framework, Ahmed Al-Asadi, revealed this evening, Sunday, that his alliance submitted a request to the oldest parliament speaker, requesting to adopt the framework as the largest parliamentary bloc with 88 seats.

Al-Asadi told Shafaq News Agency, “The coordinating framework submitted a request to the oldest parliament speaker, to adopt the framework as the largest parliamentary bloc with 88 deputies, but approving this matter is one of the prerogatives of the elected Speaker of the House of Representatives.”

And he indicated that “the largest bloc consists of the coordination framework and some independent blocs and representatives,” adding that “the session will continue until the return of the older president, and that the inauguration of Khaled Al-Darraji as president of the session behind Al-Mashhadani is illegal.”

The Iraqi parliament held this afternoon the first inaugural session of the fifth parliamentary session, headed by the oldest representative, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, and the presence of 325 deputies, who took the constitutional oath as deputies.

During the session, the coordinating framework submitted a request to the head of the age to adopt the framework as the largest parliamentary bloc with 88 deputies, which provoked the Sadrist bloc and caused verbal altercations and stampedes that forced al-Mashhadani to adjourn the session before he was exposed to a health problem, after which he was transferred to the hospital.

The Iraqi Council of Representatives returned and resumed its opening session, headed by Khaled Al-Daraji and attended by 205 deputies, at the invitation of the Secretary-General of the Council, the second reserve elder, to take over the management of the session, according to a statement received by Shafaq News Agency from the Council’s media department.
