Shafaq News/ Today, Tuesday, the Central Bank of Iraq warned against dealing with applications, websites, and platforms that practice betting and trade in money, using the bank’s name and logo as an interface.
In a statement issued today, the bank stated that it noticed the use of its name and logo by weak-minded people to exploit citizens in promotional matters in applications, websites, and fake platforms that adopt multiple methods and methods to mislead citizens and expose them to financial fraud.
He noted that these applications, websites and platforms are not licensed by it, warning citizens against dealing with them, stressing the importance of verifying their reliability before using them, and informing the Bank’s Awareness and Banking Services Control Department when there is any suspicious case via e-mail (banking.awareness@cbi . iq ) or call (07809224663).
