The Iraqi Central Bank announced on Tuesday the suspension of the circulation of national bonds in the Iraqi market for securities.
A statement by the bank said that it was decided to suspend the circulation of the first national bonds of the Iraqi market for securities, as of March 5 present. Pointing out that the suspension comes to extinguish the national bonds on March 4 this year.
On April 2, 2017, the Central Bank issued national bonds on behalf of the Ministry of Finance amounting to one trillion dinars to finance the deficit in the Iraqi financial budget.
