The Central Bank issues a statement relating to the commissions withheld for cash withdrawalsThe Central Bank of Iraq issued, on Tuesday, a statement on the commissions deducted for cash withdrawal through the use of points of sale.

The bank said in a statement that “for the purpose of organizing cash withdrawals through the use of points of sale, the Central Bank of Iraq calls on banks and electronic payment companies licensed to compel their agents to announce at their workplace the details of the services provided and the rates of fees and commissions deducted clearly and explicitly.”

And he called the bank, “Citizens, to make sure of the deducted commissions shown in the withdrawal bar for the devices, which must be in line with the instructions of the Central Bank,”

Adding that he had previously “set the ceiling for one draw from points of sale, which is 2 million dinars, provided that the maximum commission for the commission is 0.006 for the withdrawn amount and not less than 2000 dinars.”
