BAGHDAD / JD / .. The central bank decided to issue a commemorative banknote marshland, on the occasion included in the World Heritage list.
Press office of the bank said in a statement received / JD / copy of it: that the Central Bank congratulates the Iraqi people on the occasion of the inclusion of the marshes and archaeological sites within the World Heritage List, “and decides to issue commemorative banknotes to commemorate this important event in the world.”
The World Heritage Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), have voted to include the three ancient cities and four from the Iraqi marshes to the list of World Heritage register. / End / 22 /
