Representative of the Central and Southern Front, Hussein Al-Saabari, confirmed today, Saturday, that the political consensus between the government and the blocs imposed the passage of the budget amendment within the House of Representatives.
Al-Saabari told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The Central and Southern Front continues to challenge the passage of the unconstitutional budget amendment before the Federal Court.”
He added, “Passing the budget led to disagreements and boycotts by more than 50 MPs, and reflects the state of rejection of passing the amendment to Article 12.”
He pointed out that “the political consensus between the government and the blocs imposed the passing of the budget without taking into consideration the MPs’ comments and the extent of the danger of Article 12 to the budget.”
