The Cabinet issues a number of important decisions{Baghdad: Al Furat News} Today, Tuesday, the Council of Ministers held a regular session headed by the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, during which they discussed developments in the events, as well as discussing the topics included in its agenda.

The statement added that, after the Council of Ministers discussed what was included in the agenda of the session, it issued the following decisions:
First / Approval of the Ministry of Transport proceeding with the procedures for concluding a new contract with the Dutch company (Kapier) to build two steamers instead of (8) ships, An amount of $ (317,500,000) dollars, only thirty-one million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars, for each ship with the addition of an elevator (ELEVATOR) for each ship, and authorizing the General Manager of the General Company for Maritime Transport the authority to sign the contract and the financial obligations resulting from that, taking into account the following:
– The Ministry of Transport and the aforementioned company bear the validity of the contractual procedures and the duly assignment, and negotiate with the company to reduce prices.
Obliging the contracting company to submit a formal written assignment of any rights resulting from the previous contract before signing the new contract with it.
– The Ministry of Transport took legal measures regarding signing the previous contract before implementing Paragraph (3) of Cabinet Resolution (44 of 2013), identifying the negligent, if any, and taking legal measures against them.
Second /
A- Endorsing the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Energy (55 for the year 2020), according to the following:
– Approval of the renewal of the numbered contract (MBL / M4 / 20/37) with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) for the next year / 2021 with the same contract quantity of (12) million barrels of Basra Light crude oil, and the contractual terms previously in effect, provided they are urged To pay within the contractual time period, with the exception of regulations No. (9) issued by the Ministry of Planning.
B- Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Energy Council regarding the order 97180032 – Contract No. 3063, the renewal of the lease contract for a self-generating station, North Refineries Company, according to the following:
1. Approval of the renewal of the contract No. 3063 of 2018 concluded between the North Refineries Company and the British (Aggreko Middle East) Company / United Arab Emirates branch for the purpose of leasing self-generating stations to operate Salah al-Din refineries (1 and 2) for a period of (6) months, in quantities, terms and obligations of the original contract The same, as an exception to the controls No. (9) attached to the instructions for implementing government contracts (2 of 2014), due to the circumstances of the Corona pandemic, which led to the delay of direct advocacy procedures for the purchase of energy units.
2. Directing the Ministry of Electricity to find a more effective solution to reduce the recurring need for rent.
C- Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Energy Council regarding approval to exempt the order (CMIT-PRT-10.30-190110) drilling (22) wells – in the Maysan fields – the third meal – Maysan Oil Company, from Paragraph (II / E) of Controls No. (3) Attached to the Instructions for Implementing Government Contracts (2) for the year 2014).
Third / Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Human Development regarding plots of lands belonging to the Medical Institute in the governorates of Najaf and Muthanna, as follows:
1- Deleting the amount of the acquisition of plots of lands numbered 56/500, 56/505 and 56/1296 in the district of 19 Umm al-Asafir al-Sharqiya – the municipality of Samawah, On which are the university buildings of the Technical Institute / Central Euphrates Technical University, with an area of ​​(9/11478) square meters, the value of (1262679000) dinars, only one billion two hundred and sixty-two million six hundred and seventy-nine thousand dinars, and the completion of the fundamental procedures for registration.
2- Wiping off the amount of the acquisition of the plot of land numbered (10/13, District 6 Abu Muhar), the municipality of Samawah, which is allocated to the Technical Institute / Central Euphrates Technical University with an area of ​​(39 dunums, 14 oleks and 67.80 square meters, whose value is (1484517000) dinars, only one billion and four hundred Eighty-four million five hundred and seventeen thousand dinars, and the completion of the registration procedures.
3- Wiping off the amount of appropriation of the plot of land numbered (37/457 New District 20), Al-Rumaitha municipality, with an area of ​​(2 dunums, 7 oleks, and 43.98 square meters), on which the site of the Rumaitha Institute has been built and is currently with the Appraisal Committee in the Governorate of Muthanna to evaluate it, and complete the basic procedures for registration .
4- Wiping off the amount of the acquisition of the plot of land numbered (1/7895) in the name of the municipality of Najaf with an area of ​​(257 dunums, 13 oleks and 75 square meters), on which the Technical Institute / Central Euphrates Technical University, whose value is (12877500000) dinars, is built, only twelve billion eight hundred seventy-seven million Five hundred thousand dinars, and complete the registration procedures.
Based on the provisions of Article (46) of the amended Federal Financial Management Law (6 of 2019), and Cabinet Resolution (28 of 2020).
Fourthly/
1- Recommending to the Iraqi Council of Representatives to withdraw the draft law on ratification of the agreement to accelerate economic cooperation and energy affairs between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of South Korea.
2- The Ministry of Oil and Electricity, in coordination with the South Korean side, to re-study the aforementioned draft agreement, and to present an appropriate formula for it.
Fifth /
1- Providing the ministries of defense, interior, health and water resources and their formations, and the governorates of Dhi Qar and Wasit with the following materials: gas oil, oils and gasoline, on the deadline from 1/1/2021 until March 31, 2021, after the aforementioned bodies and their formations send an official monthly schedule of their needs From fuel to the Ministry of Oil.
2- Recording the financial amounts owed by the aforementioned bodies and their formations, which will be spent later upon approval of the financial allocations in the Federal Budget Law for the fiscal year / 2021.
Sixth / Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Social Service (37 of 2019) regarding the continuation of the completion of contracting procedures by Babil Governorate with a consortium of companies (James + Authorization + Al-Jazirah + GAMA + Al-Iffad), provided that the process of engineering and technical supervision and follow-up of the project is done by the Directorate General for water and sewage in the Ministry of Construction and Housing, Municipalities and Public Works.
