Al-Tamimi told Mawazine News that the Presidency of the House of Representatives received this evening, a copy of the draft budget law of the country, “indicating that” the budget of 2018 saw a significant reduction in the fiscal deficit compared to last year. ”
The member of the parliamentary committee, “the budget for the next year set the price of oil at $ 46 per barrel after the recent increase,” noting that “the budget has also seen the allocation of 12.68% to the Kurdistan Regional Government.”
Tamimi pointed out that “the news that the media dealt with the deduction of more salaries of employees is not healthy,” stressing at the same time that “the budget identified the deduction of $ 3.8 as last year of salaries of employees.”
It is noteworthy that the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri said, earlier on Wednesday, that in the event of the arrival of the financial budget of the country next week, we will call the members of parliament to hold another extraordinary meeting of the readings and vote on them.
