6-14-2015 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Ok – so stop and think about this for a sec…Iraq’s 2015 Budget was roughly 119 Trillion IQD…today is June 13th – almost EXACTLY half way thru the year…the other day they went public with their “true deficit” as 30% the budget… (of 119 T) – in other words more like 40+ Trillion IQD (40 Billion USD). I have been saying this – right? The deficit was waaaay more than 25 Trillion (IQD). So 50% of their budget and remaining year is likely GONE…surely they have spent the full budget allocation during the first half of the year…so they probably have only 20% of their budget left (of 119T IQD) to cover 50% of the remaining year…at a current rate of a bit over 10T IQD per month… they have a tiny bit over 2 months before they run out of money completely. So where does it come from? Has no one bothered to read the fine print on the loan articles? They aren’t even close – and if they were, the loans were for like 833 mil… 9 mil… 5 bil (if they GET a credit rating and their bond issues sell… lots of “if’s”)… and not until past June.. 6-13-2015 Newshound/Intel Guru Randy Koonce I am writing this note to calm the people who are having trouble understanding what happen with the Sterling stuff and if you have been scammed or not… Is the Iraq money good? Yes it is unless you have sadam hussiens face on the bills. Why did the FBI raid Sterling… I read the doc and the charges they are all on BUSINESS PRACTICE NOT THE BILLS… I have not seen any bills that Sterling sold that was bad…and unless you have Sadam Hussein face on a bill then you will be ok…The FBI said in a statement that it was not going to RV…No they did not they were quoting a partner who at the time did not care because they were making lots of money…Why did GID and others get shut down… because they were partners to Sterling. What does this mean to me… It means you are ok if you are holding dinar and as soon as Barzani gets enough pressure on Obama to be paid you will see the RV…We are close. 6-12-2015 Newshound Guru Enorrste Article quote: “Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister called on the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, to adjust the exchange rate by the central bank.” As I see this Saleh is advocating…for the CBI to go ahead NOW and move to a floating currency. Once the official rate is the same as the street rate, then the demand for dollars becomes meaningless, right? If I have to pay a commission to someone to buy dollars when my dinars are going to go up and down just as the dollar does, why would I do that? I wouldn’t. Remember, what happens WITHIN a country is different than what is happening OUTSIDE the country. We know that with our own currency: it goes up and down outside the country, but is still “just a dollar” at home. The same will happen with the dinar: it will be “just a dinar” and no “difference” inside the country between it and a dollar will matter. Once the incentive to buy dollars is removed by changing the exchange rate regime, then the fire to abandon dinars in favor of dollars will go out. At that point, market forces will come into play and the dinar will rise in value…once it is set free natural market forces will show that it is actually STRONGER than the dollar. This won’t take long, either, because if they change the exchange rate regime then that means that OTHER people besides locals will have access to the currency. This includes speculators. Read more…

6-11-2015 Newshound Guru Tlar [Referencing Sterling Currency Court Document] The scam they are talking about is not the physical dinar itself but the system Sterling used to increase its sales. The governments wants this operation closed…This is a serious charge and will most likely be seen by the courts as a scam operation and will probably end up in seizure of the assets from this operation as the FBI wants. Personally as far as I am concerned I pay more attention to Iraq…It is Iraq’s currency that we own. Iraq is a sovereign country and not part of the US. Ultimately Iraq will decide its own fate as to the value of their currency. CBI just got banks to agree to sell USD for 1193 (lowest number in a long, long time)…the last recorded auction was 289 mil… bigger than anything recent by 150 mil…so if they go along like this for a week or two (we’ll have to see how sales go) they will pull TRILLIONS of Dinar from circulation without having to introduce any new notes…the main thing they were after – and they can just use USD to do it… get the Dinar off the street before they have to buy it back…which – if you think about it – they keep this up for a bit – it’s a dead give-away. [hold off the RV while the CBI sells dollars to load up on Dinar – then RV and all that Dinar reserve shoots up in value overnight!] there you go. Read more…

6-2-2015 Intel Guru Delta Iraq needs the money…the oil prices…fighting DAASH…a lot of money is being spent. They need to sell bonds…move forward…they can’t do anything. They need to change the rate. They got the green light…they have to keep moving. The rate must change before they can release the lower denoms. They need the money right now. [The NATIONAL GUARD Law …IS THAT IMPORTANT do they need those laws to move forward?] No. They have the green light…they don’t need laws to RV. The CBI is independent. [ARE THE Qi CARDS SCANNING MACHINES IN THE MARKET PLACE?] the 1st generation machine are but the latest ones have not been activated yet. The system is hooked up…they’re just waiting for the new exchange rate. 6-1-2015 Newshound Guru Tlar The reason the CBI is planning for a more valuable series of bank notes is because this will help solve the liquidity problem because as these notes are introduced, the hope is that they will temporarily reduce the need for higher note USD that is principally being sold at the auctions. The CBI is scrambling to fix the liquidity problem but that will take time. Money has to work its way into the economy. They can’t just dump it in. Personally I think the program to produce these big notes is dead before it begins especially if it will take until 2016 to start to introduce them. Too little too late. They need to do something now and that something in my opinion is to get the RV into high gear now. We are starting to see articles from other economists that feel the same way. Introduce a smaller note with value. No good argument can be made for introducing a large note at this time. If someone is going to attempt to counterfeit a small note, surly they will also counterfeit a larger note with large value. Introducing a new note is still introducing a new note and counterfeiters are more likely to try to produce a big note. Personally I think it would make much more sense to just RV NOW, rather than wait until 2016 to introduce the large notes. I think that is what they will do. Read more…

QUESTION – So two 25,000 notes equal…50,000 dinars…which would obviously be around $46.00 USD. …if they remove all of the 3 zero notes…if they came out with a new 50 dinar note…the old two 25k notes… would be equal to a 50,000 dinar note…would only be worth $46. So a new 50 dinar note…would be equal to a 50,000 dinar note…under the new structure. I’m not taking into consideration at all…any of the additional liquidity behind the dinar. This is what the CBI is saying with numbers. Numbers translate the same…no matter who (or what) it is. It’s a universal language…a language of numbers. 5-26-2015 Intel Guru Delta It looks like the Parliament had a meeting with the leaders to pass 20 pending laws…they’re ready for voting. They’re going to accomplish this in the next 3 days. One of the most important is the investment law… The revaluation is to increase the rate and this law will help Iraq do that. Everyone knows that the CBI is coming out with the 50 and 100 dinar…still confusion that it’s a 50,000 and 100,000 but it’s not…it’s just the value. Abadi said this is what we need because we need the money supply, easier to carry around and something they don’t have to use like US dollars. It looks like the rate will change before they introduce the lower denominations and 24 – 48 hours we should see the lower denominations along with the 20 laws to pass this week and the activation for the private sectors we’ve been waiting for…the new rate is one of the anchors for the private sector and economy.
