Remember what the MCP is? The MCP is the gap in the exchange market rate to the fixed price adopted by the CBI and pegged to the dollar. 3-11-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat …we see the IMF apposing the budget allocations to Kurdistan. Will they hold up the RV due to this or will they mind their own business? Maybe its time to mind their own business in internal affairs. Think about this – the only real strong hold the IMF now has over Iraq are the SDR loan program and the completion of currency reform. So what do they still need Iraq to complete prior to the currency reform? Legally the only issue they really can force Iraq to complete is the MCP and we know this is nearing the end of the 90 day application of correction period. 3-8-2018 Intel Guru RayRen98 We have been getting reports from Iraqi citizens that they expect to see lower denominations in the next few weeks; there is a campaign to educate them on these lower denominations and how to take advantage of them. We’ll see. Positive, progress, moving us in the right direction. I am reading an article saying that the final Budget amendments were made with approval of the Prime Minister. He is not waiting the 18 days, he has already approved them. All we are waiting for now is the Gazette, which couldn’t publish it until it was approved. Read more…

One of the generals who put the currency out that you and I have…american general…he said Iraq’s goal, very specific, is to get to a billion notes and those billion notes will represent their wealth. 3-6-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat I still don’t get all the excitement that the rate was in the budget therefore they had to pass the budget to get the RV. …There is no new rate contained within the budget. The budget simply states the allowance of funding in dinars. …Now having said all this I am told the budget passing parliament was a mandate to move ahead with the reinstatement of the currency…it is all part of having a structured government and a democracy in motion. They must be able to manage the oil revenue in a responsible way and distribute it to the nation and for the good of the nation. It can not go to corrupt officials. It is also part of resolving the Article 140. This is why the budget was so important. I believe now we will see a massive amount of news come out of the CBI all of a sudden on the continuance of the project to delete the zeros, as they educate the citizens on the even [event ?] about to take place. 3-2-2018 Intel Guru RayRen98 After voting on several articles, members of Parliament walked out before voting on and passing the final budget. Kurds are boycotting. Abadi says the vote will be live Saturday on TV so that the citizens can see exactly whom is causing problems with the process. The meeting of the three presidencies regarding the budget was postponed until later in the evening, no update yet. Members of Parliament who are absent from voting will be fined. Abadi again on TV warning everyone of serious repercussions due to the budget not being voted and passed as scheduled. The simple fact is that there are now a vast majority of factors in our favor versus the few left that seem to be holding this back. ISIS is decimated in Iraq; the banking structure is becoming more internationally connected; interest in investing has risen even if actual investment has not yet begun; the CBI has finally tackled the problem with the spread (this is really key); the CBI is officially on the record now for some time to move toward a floating currency; talk of ending the auctions has risen to the point that it will become a reality soon; the IMF is trustee over the CBI and is on record to move Iraq into the real world; etc. I will be surprised if we don’t see the float begin sometime this year.
