Supporters of Shiite factions attempt to storm the US embassy in Baghdad

Shafaq News/ Hundreds of supporters of the Shiite factions gathered, on Saturday, near the gate of the fortified Green Zone from the side of the suspension bridge.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the demonstrators are trying to storm the Green Zone and enter the US embassy, expressing their anger over the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
A security source told Shafaq News Agency, “The security forces closed the roads leading to the suspension bridge amidst a heavy deployment of law enforcement forces.”
Earlier today, Saturday, the Lebanese Hezbollah mourned the Secretary-General of the party, Hassan Nasrallah, confirming what the Israeli army announced in this regard.
Earlier today, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee announced that the raid that targeted the southern suburb of Beirut yesterday, Friday, resulted in the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah.
The party said in a statement today that Hassan Nasrallah “has passed away to be with his Lord and be pleased with Him as a martyr.”
