Representative Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani announced his resignation from the Islamic Dawa Party / Iraq Organization and from the State of Law coalition bloc.
Al-Sudani said in a post on his Facebook page that he was “not a candidate for any party, and that Iraq belonged first.”
It is noteworthy that the Sudanese, who received previous government positions, has recently been named as a candidate for the presidency of the transitional and interim government to be formed to manage the next stage and complete early elections.
The popular circles and demonstrations reject any political candidate and stress that he is independent and has not held any previous position.
