The leader of the State of Law Coalition, Jassem Muhammad Jaafar, accused, on Wednesday, the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, of trying to export his political suffocation within the Sunni house, indicating that his recent statements regarding the absentees are reckless against the agreement of the State Administration Alliance.
Jaafar said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The coordination framework is required to issue a firm and firm stance against Al-Halbousi after he threatened to leave the state administration coalition and provoked sectarian strife.”
He added, “Al-Halbousi is suffering from a suffocating political crisis and is trying in any way to end the clear Sunni dispute, prior to the parliamentary mobilization against him and the overthrow of his seat.”
He explained that “40% of the Sunni forces are currently against al-Halbousi, and there is a mobilization that may reach 60% in the coming days, and other political forces may be approached to proceed with his removal.”
