State of Law bloc rejects the current exchange rate and invites the Finance Committee

The parliamentary state of law bloc announced, on Saturday, its rejection of the dollar exchange rate in the budget.
The representative of the bloc in the Finance Committee, Abdul Hadi Al-Saadawi, said in a statement, “The Finance Committee held a meeting this morning at the Al-Rasheed Hotel, in which the ministers of finance, planning, oil, electricity and labor, the minister of commerce and housing and the minister of state participated with the advanced cadres of the ministry. The meeting discussed the federal budget law and presented us. Our objection to the exchange rate, because the devaluation of the dinar caused confusion in the street and high prices that the citizen should bear for us, who expects us to do justice and support. ”
Al-Saadawi confirmed his rejection of “the current price of the dollar set by the government,” calling on the Finance Committee “to return the price as it was previously and to consider the citizen with the eyes of humanity as he is the first victim of the high prices.”
