Shafaq News/ The Oil Products Distribution Company announced on Tuesday that private generators will be supplied with free kerosene starting next June.
The company’s general manager, Hussein Talib, explained in a statement today that the Ministry of Oil, represented by the distribution company, took early action to prepare for the summer season by providing gas oil to private generators, out of a desire to support citizens’ electricity supply as temperatures rise and demand increases.
The Cabinet decided, in its session held on May 11, to supply generators with kerosene fuel free of charge during the summer season this year.
