Today, Monday, the Al-Fateh Alliance considered the political differences over the sovereign ministerial portfolios that they will not affect the holding of the session for selecting the cabinet of the designate of the prime minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, while setting the maximum date for passing the cabinet inside the parliament.
And the leader of the coalition, Ayed Al-Hilali, said in an interview with the “Information” agency, that “the differences between the Sunni or Kurdish political blocs over the sovereign portfolios will not be able to impede the holding of the session to present the booth of the commissioner, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, again.”
Al-Hilali suggested: “The Sudanese booth will be passed on Tuesday or Wednesday as a maximum,” stressing “the necessity of forming the government during the current stage, even if it is imperfectly for some ministries that have not been agreed upon to choose names for them.”
He added, “The important thing at the present time is that there be a new government because the political situation can no longer bear any delay, given that the Iraqi people have been waiting for nearly a whole year to see a government with full powers.”
In a previous interview, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Shammari, confirmed that the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, had achieved 70% of the cabinet formation, indicating that the coordinating framework is the official sponsor of the government and bears its failure and success.
