Follow-up – and babysit –informed sources confirmed that Saudi Arabia intensified its contacts with the leader of the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, Iraq’s Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani in order to withdraw confidence from Maliki’s government. The sources pointed out that Saudi Arabia has urged Allawi and Barzani to take advantage of the position of the Sadrist movement, which has become demanding the withdrawal of confidence, before changing his position, as well as take advantage of the differences that exist between the National Alliance, she said.
