Today, Wednesday, a security source revealed details about a missile launched by the Islamic Resistance penetrating American air defenses, landing inside the building of the Ain al-Assad base located west of Anbar.
The source told the “Al-Ma’louma” agency that “the missile launched by the Islamic Resistance succeeded in penetrating the American air defenses on the Ain al-Assad base in the Al-Baghdadi district of Hit district, west of Anbar,” noting that it “caused violent explosions inside the base building.”
He added, “The American air defenses failed to respond to a missile attack that penetrated the security fortifications of the base building,” noting that “the security situation in all Anbar cities is safe and stable without any case of infiltration or security breach recorded.”
On the other hand, the source indicated that “the American air defenses fired intense fire into the air after being exposed to missile attacks this morning,” stressing that “investigations are underway to determine the extent of the losses resulting from this incident.”
Ain al-Assad base was subjected to a missile attack this morning, while American forces closed the base and prevented the movement of its forces, and warplanes and drones flew over the base building for fear of being exposed to a similar attack.
