Iraq has signed and the United Nations on Wednesday and development assistance framework document for the UN to be implemented to support Iraq during the period 2015-2019.
The document was signed by Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways and UN special envoy to Iraq, in Iraq, Nikolai Miladinov. ”
A statement by the Office Shaways received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of the Deputy Prime Minister said in his speech, “Iraq’s desire to continue cooperation with the United Nations in all fields in order to achieve stability and economic and social growth of the Iraqi people and by the possibilities of programs and organizations of the United Nations” .
Miladinov as pointed to “the importance of building state institutions and enhance their capacity to meet basic needs and to ensure the development of those institutions.”
“The signing of this document came after discussions and many meetings between various ministries and agencies of the Iraqi agencies and programs of the UN force in Iraq in order to exit a document reflect to priority Iraqi plans ministries which meet the aspirations and needs of the Iraqi people” and thanked “the important role of the United Nations in helping Iraq and professional high achievement in this document, “stressing that” Iraq still needs the UN organization’s efforts at this stage of its history. ”
The statement pointed out that “The signing ceremony was attended by heads of agencies and programs of the UN force in Iraq and the Minister of Displacement and Migration and the President of the National Investment Commission, agents and Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Industry and director of the Office of the Prime Minister and a large number of consultants and general managers from the various ministries.” Ended
