Aamah sources revealed that there is a consensus among the National Alliance to choose the MP Hussein al-Shahristani, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for the next government.
The sources said, “Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki decided to change his mind at the last minute after the selection of Hussain al-Shahristani instead Tarek Najm.”
