Political and security expert, Kazem Al-Hajj, said today, Sunday, that every security threat related to terrorism will disappear with the departure of foreign forces, led by the Americans, from Iraqi territory.
Al-Hajj said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “Every talk about the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq is accompanied by a noticeable increase in the number of terrorist operations, and this is a clear indication that the terrorist groups are cooperating with the American forces.”
He added, “The popular will with a religious basis, as well as the political will in the presence of the Islamic resistance factions, was able to prove that all foreign forces present on Iraqi territory are occupying forces, and that the level of occupation exceeds the level of occupation as a result of the spread of spy cells affiliated with the American and Israeli axis.”
He continued, “The previous decision of the Iraqi Council of Representatives regarding the removal of American forces could be amended, to become more comprehensive in removing military and strategic forces, and to define the nature of foreign relations, which guarantees the sovereignty and independence of the Iraqi state on land and air, and freedom from American economic hegemony.”
