Palm – renewed Liberal bloc, Sunday, commitment to its refusal to nominate incumbent Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for a third term, while confirmed that it will not negotiate with any political bloc on the basis of interests.
A spokesman for the bloc Jawad al-Jubouri in a media interview that “the Liberal bloc will not change its stance on the issue of the third term being contrary to the foundations of democracy and we are not targeting anyone,” noting that “there is no Tfaaudhat until now with the state of the law in this regard.”
Jubouri said that “the law of the Liberal and National Alliance Aijmahm only,” asserting that “we will not negotiate with any block on the basis of interests.”
He Jubouri that “the position of the Liberal bloc does not change and the constant of the third term, which is not only our position, but the position of all the political parties that do not want to establish that this project is not democratic.”
