The representative of the Al-Sadiquon Parliamentary Bloc, Mahasen Al-Dulaimi, demanded, on Monday, the judiciary to prevent Mustafa Al-Kazemi and his government team from traveling outside Iraq and seizing their movable and immovable funds until the investigation into corruption cases is completed.
Al-Dulaimi said in an interview with “Al-Information” agency, that “we have always talked on more than one occasion about the corruption of the Al-Kazemi government in concluding suspicious fake contracts and deals.”
She added that “the process of confiscating movable and immovable funds for those who are proven to be involved in financial corruption is a legal and constitutional matter.”
Al-Dulaimi indicated that “the Iraqi people need this money, especially the central and southern governorates, which are suffering from poverty because of the corruption of the Al-Kazemi government.”
