Russia’s ambassador to the US angers speech and withdraws from the Security Council meeting

He withdrew Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s ambassador to the United Nations, an emergency meeting of the Security Council, objection from the United States described the meeting as “a ploy” Russian.
Churkin said, after the withdrawal of the emergency meeting called by the country after a US air strike in Syria, “I have never seen .. this American tyranny that we are witnessing today.”
He Churkin said his US counterpart, Samantha Power told him it is “not interested” in what he has to say because the meeting just a “gimmick”, prompting Churkin to leave the meeting.
He said the Russian ambassador, “this source is very serious concern we want to pass it to the Security Council and this is what we’ve done .. to choose the United States to do the airstrike at this particular time, is a very serious matter, and in fact suspicious.”
Said Samantha Power, such as a closed emergency session of the Security Council, the Russian anger over US air raid that targeted the Syrian military forces and to call for an emergency session of the Security Council held a mere “gimmick”.

The Ambassador said that Russia did not call for an emergency meeting on Syria when the Syrian regime was attacking the opposition forces or hinder the entry of aid to the besieged areas.
Bauer asked, “So why we hold this meeting tonight (last)? It’s a deviation from what is happening on the ground in Syria.”
