Russia agrees to ceasefire with Ukraine

Shafaq News/ Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Thursday evening that Moscow had agreed to a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine.
Putin said in statements reported by Russian media that “Moscow has agreed to the proposals for ending hostilities, but it proceeds from the principle that this should lead to long-term peace and eliminate the causes of the crisis,” according to the Russia Today website.
Putin noted that “Russia supports a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine, but the question is how this period will be used.”
