Russia accuses Biden administration of ’emptying’ US taxpayers’ pockets to aid Ukraine

Shafaq News/ The Russian embassy in Washington accused the outgoing administration of US President Joe Biden of seeking to empty the pockets of US taxpayers in order to continue providing aid to Ukraine.
“The next package of military and financial aid to the Kiev regime announced by the White House, worth billions of dollars, is attracting attention. As the departure approaches every day, this administration seeks to empty the pockets of American taxpayers even more to support the clearly losing Ukrainian project. The impudence lies in the fact that the US authorities announced their decision just before the New Year, hoping that this bloody gift will allow Zelensky and his gang to continue resisting the Russian army,” the embassy said in a comment posted on its Telegram channel.
The embassy believes that the guardians in Washington “still dream of the possibility of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia,” but in reality their attempts only prolong the death throes of the neo-Nazis in Kiev.
The Russian embassy urged “the American public and citizens of Ukraine to think about what, in the end, other than disasters for the Ukrainian people, the insane actions of the Western sponsors of the Kiev regime will lead to.”
Earlier, US President Joe Biden announced the allocation of nearly $2.5 billion in security aid to the Kiev regime.
The US administration also pledged to send $3.4 billion in budget aid to Ukraine, thus spending the remaining funds allocated by Congress this year to support Kiev.
